We open a crossing, not a dealership
A licensed importer of cars from China, from brands that have no dealer network in Romania yet: brought in, type-approved and registered. The specification is fixed and the price is final — what the card says is what you get. We find them, inspect them at the source, and handle shipping, customs, Romanian type approval (RAR) and registration. A flat fee of €1,500, written into the contract.
The name
Why ArcMotors
ARC stands for Auto Rulate China — used cars from China — and that is all we sell: cars that have already been driven, brought from there. "Used" is the first word, not a footnote, because it is the first thing anyone looking at the price has a right to know.
An arch is also a crossing: it joins two banks without being either of them. That is what we do, between a factory in China and a Romanian number plate. The mark in the header is that figure, drawn thick enough to read as a wheel arch too.
It has a practical advantage as well: it does not suggest we are anyone’s dealership. Which would be both untrue and risky.

What we do not do
We are a licensed importer, independent of the manufacturers: we represent no brand, we have no workshop of our own, and we offer no commercial warranty. We find the car, inspect it, bring it in and register it. After handover, servicing is yours.
We write this on the home page, not in the footer. In a market where nobody yet knows what to expect, the only real advantage is being the first to say what you cannot do.

Three rules

The price is agreed up front, not along the way
You sign a contract with a final figure that includes the car, shipping, the 10% customs duty, 21% Romanian VAT, type approval and registration. If unexpected costs appear on the way, they are ours. An import with "we will see at the end" is not a service, it is a bet.

You see the car before you pay
You get the Chabosi inspection report and photographs of the actual car — not of a similar one from a catalogue — before any transfer.
- 03
We tell you when it is not worth it
If you need a service network and a factory warranty, a brand with an official presence in Romania is the right choice. We will tell you so ourselves, even if it means you walk away.
